SURESH KUMAR JAIN

A commerce graduate from St. Xavier’s College, Calcutta and an ICWA, Mr. S K Jain is responsible for setting up the roots of Cosmopolitan Group. In a span of just 15 years, Mr. Jain with his perseverance and far sightedness, elevated the company to its zenith of success. He holds several positions of honour in different organizations. Some of them being:

In addition to being a dynamic businessman, Mr. SK Jain is also involved and associated with a number of philanthropic institutions. He has also been the Vice President of Jain Mahasabha, a very powerful socio-religious body set up to promote and propagate the noble virtues of Jainism.

SIDDHARTH JAIN

An MBA from IIFT, Delhi, Mr. Siddharth Jain possesses all efficiency, knowledge, entrepreneurship skill, dynamism to carry the Group at a next higher level. Being the son of Mr. S.K. Jain, Mr. Siddharth got a lot of his entrepreneurship skills by inheritance from his father. Owing to his young age, he is dynamic and open to new initiatives and innovative ideas.

Experience:

As a Director of Cosmopolitan Group of companies, he is the main driving force behind ongoing multiple Projects and heading the Incubation Team for new Business verticals which are of great strategic importance for the Group. In just 28 years of age, Mr. Siddharth has achieved quite a bit for Cosmopolitan. His key contribution and expertise has been:

• Development of Mega Food Park Projects.
• Leading the Group’s foray into setting up processing facilities for Spices, Pulses, Fruit Pulp, Tamarind and Tapioca Starch.
• Initiating and entering into new business ventures viz. Hospitality & real sector, Power, Specialty products and Engineering & fabrication.
• Cutting edge knowledge and exposure in Logistics- road and Inland waterways. He has been behind several improvements in the field of Warehousing and 3PL activities. In charge of Projects related to setting up an Integrated Supply Chain for Paddy and Rice.
• Extensively traveled to study the market and the culture of several countries; Visited UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Netherlands, Singapore, Hong Kong, UAE, Thailand and Malaysia.
• He has been responsible for all abroad marketing activities and assist BOD in development of marketing strategy after rigorous research; monitor performance and develop improvements based on industry trends.
• Heading Group’s Shipping & Port Operations which includes Manufacture and Operating Barges for Inland waterways as well as for other port utilities.
• Represents the organization at different community activities to enhance the organization’s community profile
• He is also behind the upcoming new projects. To name few- Retail Shopping Complex at Kolkata, High Rise Hotel Projects at Kolkata and others.
